Your senior pictures are a chance to celebrate all you’ve accomplished over the past years. You probably don’t want to settle for boring pictures that look just like everyone else’s! 5 Ideas To Personalize Your Oskaloosa High School Senior Portraits
Your Car
From the second you get the keys to your car, it completely transforms your life. It gives you freedom and lets you go anywhere you want. So, why not show it off during your Oskaloosa High School senior session? If you want to include your car in your pictures, just be sure to show it some TLC first. Run it through the car wash, clean the windows, and maybe empty and vacuum it in case you want to take some pictures in the driver’s seat.
Oskaloosa High School Sports & Extra Curricular
When you do things like Oskaloosa High School sports or other extracurriculars, they tend to eat up all your time and attention. Make sure to celebrate them during your session! You can incorporate them by wearing your uniform or bringing gear, including a ball or your instrument. Some people also choose to have their pictures on their field or their school’s gym as a backdrop.

Speaking of locations, where you choose to have your session is going to completely set the tone! I love working with Oskaloosa High School students to find the perfect location for their session! Beyond your school’s fields or gym, you can use the exterior for your background. For people who like that industrial urban vibe, you can use the city’s downtown. I am also pretty partial to open fields or local gardens.

If you have a pet, bring them along! They are a part of your family, after all! If you decide to include your pet, we will have a conversation ahead of time to find pet-friendly spots for your pictures. If you are choosing multiple locations, you may want to make arrangements with someone to have them pick them up and take them home ahead of time. Also, be sure to take them to get groomed ahead of time!
Friends & Teammates
Lastly, I would love to include your Oskaloosa High School friends and teammates in your session. There are several reasons for this. First of all, this gives you the chance to make some memories with your besties before it’s time to go off to college. Secondly, it’s going to take all the awkwardness out of your session. That smile is going to be a lot more sincere when you are joking and chatting with the people who have been there with you through thick and thin.
