The MercyOne Birth Center offers assistance for both low- and high-risk pregnancies. For parents who want to have the entirety of their care here, you will be able to choose between OB-GYNs and midwives for your regular prenatal appointments. Throughout your pregnancy, they are going to make sure you have access to the necessary resources for your delivery.
Once your day arrives, you will start out by checking in on their website so they can be ready once you get there. They have 15 labor suites outfitted with large beds, personal refrigerators, private bathrooms with jacuzzi tubs, and sofa beds for your partner. While they offer epidurals, they can provide alternative pain relief methods such as nitrous oxide. Above all else, your provider will let you call the shots for your care.
For babies who need a little extra care, the hospital has a 62-bed NICU staffed by experts. You will have providers available at all times to answer your questions and assist in feeding and basic care.
