Opening up Purple Poppy Boutique didn’t always seem to be in the cards for Lea Fagervik. For years, she worked in her career in healthcare operations. Shortly after reconnecting with her old college friend, Paula Bierle, the pair decided they wanted to open up a shop full of beautiful clothing. They opened their doors in May of 2020, with Lea manning the Ankeny shop and Paula taking over the Johnston location. Since then, they have been featured on local TV programs and have built up a dedicated customer base. Whenever you stop by, you can count on stylish clothes and friendly employees who will help you find exactly what you’re looking for!
