There are three things in this life you can count on: death, taxes, and your child having more energy than you know what to do with. It’s not their fault. They are at that pivotal age where they need to be constantly exploring. Nonetheless, it can be downright exhausting when you are a parent! If you need an emergency place where you can go to catch a break, I think I have just the spots for you. As a Des Moines family photographer, I adore working with clients to plan sessions so they can make each and every moment last. If you are looking for trampoline parks in Des Moines, here are the three spots I always recommend!
1300 SE Gateway Drive, Suite 103, Grimes, Iowa 50111
Sky Zone has quickly become the trampoline park for Des Moines kids and their parents. No matter how your child wants to play, this park has just the option! They can test their speed in the challenge zone, or they can reach new heights on the warped wall. There is an air court where they can play basketball, and there is an entire ninja warrior course that tends to be a favorite for kids and teens alike. If you are managing siblings across age groups, you can hang out in the toddler zone with your younger child while the older kids explore nearby.
3799 86th Street, Urbandale, Iowa 50322
While Get Air is great for kids of all ages, this one tends to be my recommendation for parents of younger kids. Several of the trampoline park activities were specifically created for the smallest Des Moines jumpers. Each Tuesday and Thursday, they close down the entire section to kids bigger than 46 inches. For several hours, the tots rule the zone, bouncing as much as they want without having to worry about bigger kids. Outside of these hours, they will have their own toddler area where they can safely play. Get Air also has a time for jumpers with functional needs once a month.
2829 South Ankeny Blvd, Ankeny, Iowa 50023
Urban Air has locations all across the country where kids can go to have the time of their lives! They provide plenty of thrills, but they keep safety at the heart of all they do. When you visit, your child can pick from ropes courses, sky riders, battle beams, dodgeball, drop zones, warrior courses, and indoor playgrounds. You will be able to choose between several ticket options so you can plan your perfect day without paying for attractions you won’t use.
If you are looking for the perfect way to let your child burn off some of that energy, you need to plan a visit to these trampoline parks in Des Moines ASAP. You’ll have an engaging space where you can make some memories with your crew!
